Oldham County Magistrates
Magistrates
Ordinances and policies of Oldham County government are adopted by nine members of the county 'fiscal court.' In some jurisdictions, the same body is referred to as a county commission, board of supervisors, or board of selectmen.
Eight of the members of the fiscal court are referred to as 'magistrates.' Magistrates are elected from various parts of the county for four-year terms of office. The ninth member of the fiscal court is the judge-executive. The judge-executive is responsible for the day-to-day operation of county government.
Oldham County Fiscal Court meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in the fiscal court building in LaGrange. Meetings begin at 2 P.M. All meetings are recorded and can be viewed on our YouTube channel. Visit our OCTV Page for more information.
