Recycling Center

The Oldham County Recycling Center, 3943 Jones Drive, La Grange, is a self-serve drop-off facility open from dawn to dusk, seven days per week. Staff is on site daily (except holidays and weekends) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why recycle? Recycling conserves landfill space, energy, and natural resources. Recyclables are easily marketed and find their way quickly into new, usable products. Recycling sparks a powerful cycle of events that saves our environment and makes our community a better place to live. 

All recycling activity in Oldham County is voluntary except in Oldham County Schools.

Options for recycling include:

  • Public drop off recycling center offered by the County;
  • Curbside recycling offered by Republic Services;
  • Private specialty recyclers
